FAAC distribution of the Federal Government share
Public Finance · Source: OAGF via NBS · monthly
International comparability — CSA: Economic · GFSM 2014 (IMF)Monthly distribution of the Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) share of the federation revenue pool, as published in the FAAC monthly disbursement report (source Table II, "Sum & FG" sheet). Two open, verbatim-keyed axes are composited into the consumer dimension key as "beneficiary · component": the beneficiary is the printed row stub, and the component is the printed column label, whose set changes from month to month. The printed FCT-Abuja beneficiary line is kept as a dimension member rather than resolved to a geography, because the source's FGN/FCT boundary is not stable between vintages — resolving it would assert a consistency the source does not have. The printed Total row and Total column are stored and tagged as aggregates, never treated as components; a column the source's own numbered-formula row declares derived carries that formula token verbatim. Values are nominal naira exactly as printed, including the source's negative deduction figures. Published by the National Bureau of Statistics; compiled by the Office of the Accountant-General of the Federation (OAGF), Federation Account Department. The period is the disbursement month; the revenue shared is the prior month's. The source published no workbook for October 2024, so that month is absent and is preserved as a gap rather than interpolated.

Heatmap
Why this chart?
Two breakdowns (category × category) across a small, labelled 5-row grid — each row is shaded on its own scale so the pattern reads honestly.
Chosen: Heatmap · auto-selected from the data profile.
Figures are in nominal naira — the amounts as reported for each period, not adjusted for inflation. Over a multi-year span, part of any increase reflects rising prices rather than real growth.
Both downloads carry every observation — geography, period, value, unit and source — and reconstruct the whole series.

Summary
In the source publication’s own words.
This series records the Federation Account Allocation Committee's monthly distribution to the Federal Government, 2024-08 to 2026-04, in nominal naira as printed by the source. In April 2026 the Federal Government's allocation reached NGN721.47 billion, the highest in the published record, of which the Consolidated Revenue Fund account was 90.35%. Net Statutory Allocation reconciles to Gross Statutory Allocation plus (signed-negative) deductions on all rows to within NGN0.0002.
Caveats
In the source publication’s own words.
For November 2024, the two tables in the source workbook give different figures for the Federal Government's Value Added Tax allocation, differing by NGN330,000,000.0015 (about 0.354%). Prism stores both as printed and reconciles neither; across the other eleven overlapping months the two tables agree to within the source's own rounding. This is a discrepancy in the published source, not in Prism's holding.
