Ranked breakdown

Show

Sections ranked by ngn value, Q1 2026. Both measures are published figures — the naira values and their pre-computed share of the total.

Ranked bar chart of Imports by section — NGN value (Q1 2026), NGN Million. Every value is listed in the table below.

Ranked high to low (NGN Million). Exact values are in the table below.

Figures are in nominal naira — the amounts as reported for each period, not adjusted for inflation. Over a multi-year span, part of any increase reflects rising prices rather than real growth.

Both downloads carry every observation — geography, period, value, unit and source — and reconstruct the whole series.

Full historical data

Every published section, period by period — the naira value and its share of the total side by side. The latest period is shown by default; expand for the full history, or use the downloads above. A dash marks a section and period one measure does not cover (the value series runs from an earlier year than the share).

Showing the latest period (Q1 2026). The downloads above carry every observation.

  • Table 336

Imports by HS Section, 2018-2022 · page 427 · National Bureau of Statistics

Imports by Harmonised System section, cif, NGN million. Two section-header rows ("I. Value (cif N million)") and the "Total" row are staged as raw_rows but produce no observations: headers are artifacts under the standing convention, and the Total duplicates Table 335 Imports byte-for-byte, which owns it under the spine rule. One HS-section label diverges between this table and Table 337 - here "Boilers, machinery and appliances; parts thereof", there "Boilers, machinery and chemical appliances; parts thereof". This table's wording is canonical for slug purposes (founder decision 2026-07-28); each table's printed label is preserved in dimensions.measure.

  • TABLE 2

Imports by Harmonized System section · The data sources for the compilations include; The Nigerian Customs Service (NCS) through the Nigeria Integrated Customs Information System (NICIS), Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), Various companies in the upstream and downstream sectors of the oil industry, Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA), Arlington Securitas Nigeria Limited, Robinson International Energies Ltd, Trobell International Nigeria Ltd, Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas Ltd (NLNG), Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Anglia International Limited, Neroli Technologies Limited, Gojopal Nigeria Limited, Nigerian Export Processing Zone Agency (NEPZA), Oil and Gas Free Zone Agency (OGFZA), Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC), Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) and Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA).

Publisher: National Bureau of Statistics. Originator/compiler: the printed Source caption names many bodies (Nigeria Customs Service through NICIS, NNPCL, NMDPRA, NLNG, CBN and others); a single source_provider_id cannot express that, so it is left unresolved with the caption verbatim rather than defaulted to NBS. This ingest is observation-grained: the extractor emitted one row per observation with a cell-level source_ref and no printed-row capture, so row_count counts staged observations, not printed rows, and no raw_rows are staged.
