Average retail prices of 43 selected food items in Nigeria, monthly across the twelve months of 2019, in naira (₦), as published in the NBS Annual Abstract of Statistics. National figures only — this vintage carries no zone or state breakdown. It is the earlier of two runs of the same measure: the continuing monthly series, which begins in November 2024 and adds the six geopolitical zones alongside the national figure, is the "Selected Food Prices by Item (average retail, monthly), Nigeria" series (nbs-prices-selected-food-prices-by-item-nga), published in the NBS Selected Food Price Watch. The two do not overlap in period — this one ends in December 2019 and that one begins in November 2024 — so they should not be spliced into a single line without stating the gap between them.
