Source: NBS Annual Abstract of Statistics 2023, Table 407. ⚠ **The Federal Capital Territory is absent from the printed row list**, so the 36 listed states do not sum to the printed national Total from 2021 onward: they reconcile exactly for 2018-2020 and fall short by ₦131.92bn (−6.96%) in 2021 and ₦124.37bn (−6.46%) in 2022. The residual is the right magnitude for FCT-IRS but Prism has not confirmed that attribution. A 2020→2021 step in the national series is therefore partly definitional, not growth.
