Source: NBS Annual Abstract of Statistics 2023, Table 233, the printed "TOTAL (TONS)" row; data provider Ministry of Mines and Steel Development. ⚠ MINING AND QUARRYING, NOT MANUFACTURING — see nbs-mfg-mineral-production-nga, which holds the eleven mineral-type components. This aggregate is held as its own series precisely so that it can never be summed together with its own components inside one series. Verified: the eleven components sum to this printed total to the cent in all three years (2018 54,987,647.23; 2019 57,295,369.61; 2020 62,644,417.67). ⚠ UNIT AMBIGUITY: the source says only "(Tons)" and never defines short vs metric — a ~10% difference. Unit is TONS_UNSPEC, deliberately not mapped to MT. Only three annual points; a short trend, read with care.
